The transmission drum is a part of the conveyor to transmit power. The surface of the transmission drum has exposed smooth steel surface and herringbone and diamond pattern rubber covering. Bare smooth steel surface can be used when the environment is dry with small power and small bandwidth. Herringbone pattern rubber surface has large friction coefficient, good skid resistance and drainage, but it has directionality. Diamond rubber surface is used for two-way conveyor.
